PRESENTATION
The PhD Program in Applied Artificial Intelligence specializes in the implementation of applied AI solutions in key areas such as health, economy, society, law, education, Spanish language teaching, biological processes, transparency and ethics, security, content creation, and practical applications specific to the various fields of knowledge mentioned above. This more specialized and applied approach responds to current training and research needs in AI.
The PhD Program in Applied Artificial Intelligence offers a wide range of potential research subfields due to the expansive and multidisciplinary nature of the field. The program covers various disciplines such as philology, medicine, law, sociology, education, among others, and is based on the understanding that AI is a cross-cutting tool with the potential to transform and enrich multiple areas of study.

Admission Profile
This PhD Program is aimed at university graduates preferably from the field of Artificial Intelligence (Engineering, Sciences) or from fields where AI can be applied (Philology, Education, Health Sciences, Law, Communication, Social Sciences), with master's degrees directly related to these areas. Applicants are also expected to have:
Interest in scientific research in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
Vocational motivation to become a scientific researcher, with initiative to actively participate in multidisciplinary teams and projects.
High level of commitment and dedication to complete the doctoral training and defend the PhD thesis.
A B2 level of English is recommended, and for students who are not native Spanish speakers, a B2 level of Spanish or equivalent is advised.
